Facts:  The bark of the willow tree has been long known as a pain reliever.  It contains the basic chemical found in aspirin.   Willow bark is great for pain and swelling due to injuries and such.  But, it is very dangerous to all children, especially if they have a fever!  Its scientific name is Salix which means "near water".  Willow is always near water.  If fact, to make the perfect divining rod, one must use willow.   Also, it is said, if you have had a romantic broken heart, you can wear a willow leaf necklace; and, you will feel better.  Good luck!
