Height: 100 ft tall

Native to America

Facts:   The Ash trees use winged seeds to propagate.  When the seeds dry out a wind will catch the winged seeds and carry them away.  The side of the seed opposite of the wing is very pointed.  The seed will use this point to drill into the soil.  About 2,000 years ago Ash was called Nuin (Noo-ihn).  About 10,000 years ago Ash was called Neiagadon (Neh-agah-dohn).  During this time the Ash's branches were used to make spears.
